I saw this chest and loved the roundness of those drawers! And the boxes mounted on top... I probably would have stained it because I'm not really into light colored woods.* But i didn't get it. It's way out of my budget. The second thing that caught my eye (but not the last...my camera died...) was this old film camera. I've never actually loaded film into a camera, so i'm kind of terrified of purchasing one that i might waste a bunch of film with. But i really liked the bulkiness of it. And the flash looks really powerful. It was pleasurable to hold. And if i knew it would
d develop film that would be cheapish...to develop...I would
probably buy it. To learn with. But for now I'll just look. And research.I've begun shooting the pictures of my etsy items. Hopefully i can upload them soon and then start listing stuff. Its interesting to see how my perspective on purchasing antiques has changed, now that I am going to sell some of my own. I realized that I often pay too much for things. I don't pay for what its worth in dollars and cents, but for the sentamental experience value that i see in its wear, tear and history. I guess it takes a nutjob like me to take in the unwanted kitsch of society.
